Navigation & Filtering
The Lifeline provides smart navigation between time scales and project filtering to help you focus on what matters.
Date Navigation
When you switch between tabs (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly), the Lifeline intelligently syncs your position:
- If you're viewing March 15 in the daily view and switch to monthly, it navigates to March 2026
- If you're viewing March 2026 in the monthly view and switch to daily, it navigates to the first day of March (or your last viewed day within March)
- Each tab remembers the last date you viewed, so switching back restores your position
TIP
This means you can freely jump between time scales without losing your place. Check something in the monthly view, then switch back to daily — you'll be right where you left off.
Project Filtering
A project selector at the top of the Lifeline lets you filter which tasks you see:
| Filter | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| All | Tasks from all projects and personal tasks |
| Personal | Only personal (non-project) tasks |
| Specific project | Only tasks belonging to that project |
The filter applies across all four time-period views. Switching between daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly keeps your project filter active.
